At 4 am on a Friday morning Chinese authorities kicked down Mr Zhou ‘s door, held him down, and carted his wife off to the hospital. There, she was forced to undergo an abortion by being injected with a solution that killed her baby boy. She was six months pregnant, and the couple has a ten-year old boy at home.
They are now mourning the loss of their baby, and must one day tell their son that it was because of him that the authorities aborted his baby brother.
This story is absolutely heartbreaking. Losing a child under “ordinary” circumstances is bad enough. I cannot imagine what this couple is going through. Their baby was murdered in cold blood, and it was premeditated.
