Witches, Vampires, and Halloween

The intent if this program is not to condemn those that celebrate Halloween. It also mentions a few other holidays and highlights the Western culture and how we got to where we are.  The program lasts about 30 minutes, but it’s worth the time.

The Fascination with Horror – Oct 31, 2013

About 72% of Americans plan to celebrate Halloween this Fall.  That exceeds the 67% of those who celebrate (or recognize) Christ’s resurrection in the Spring. Kevin Swanson interacts with a Newsweek (Daily Beast) article on the rise of the horror genre.  Why do parents dress their children up as witches, pirates, and ax murderers? This may not be everybody, but it is more common than ever. Bottom line.  If one really believed in the resurrection, would you live life differently?
