Obama is out globe trotting and promising money to foreigners while simple things are being cut here at home. The government is doing a great job at putting an end to things that will be readily seen by the public. What happened to all that wasteful government spending we keep hearing about? Why can’t we get rid of that?

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — President Harry S. Truman coined the phrase, ‘The Buck Stops Here.”
Due to the recent government sequester, the National Park Service has had to cut five percent of its budget and several of the historic sites that bear Truman’s name have been affected.
They include the newly opened Noland House, which sits across the street from the Truman Home in Independence.
The Noland House, the city’s latest historic attraction, admitted its last vistors on Saturday due to the budget cuts. The house was Truman’s cousins home. He spent a lot of time there, while courting the woman across the street, who would be his future wife Bess.
“It happened all the way across the country from Washington to Independence, Missouri. It was heartwarming,” said Independence Tourism’s Janeen Aggen.
